About the designer:
Our retail shop on the Outer Banks
of North Carolina in Kill Devil Hills began as The Yarn Corner in 1989, and in
1998 changed to Corner Stitch & Frame. In 2006 the retail shop closed and
Kathy Morrison, the owner and designer, is now focusing on her line of "Corner
Stitch Designs" which has greatly expanded since starting in 1994.
The cross stitch charts and kits are featured here, but also at many historic site gift shops
on the East and Gulf Coasts of the United States, particularly National Park
Service lighthouse shops and Colonial period and Civil War sites. We no
longer operate a retail store.
